INGREDIENTS

For Crust:
2 cups cooked CADIA® Organic Short Grain Brown Rice

2 Tbsp. organic unsalted butter, softened

2 Tbsp. chopped onion

1 organic free-range egg, slightly beaten

For Filling:
4 organic free-range eggs

1 cup organic reduced fat milk

2 cups CADIA® Frozen Organic Broccoli Florets, cooked according to package directions

1 cup organic sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

salt and pepper, to taste

DIRECTIONS

Combine rice, butter, onion and egg in a bowl.

2. Press mixture into a greased 9 inch pie plate.

3. Bake crust in preheated 400° F oven until edges and bottom are brown, about 7 minutes.

4. Mix 4 eggs, milk, broccoli and cheese in a bowl, season with salt and pepper.

5. Pour mixture into pie crust and bake at 375° F until brown and set in the center, about 30 to 35 minutes.
