1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup Cadia® organic apple juice

1 teaspoon salt 3/4 teaspoon pepper

1 Cadia® organic free-range brown egg

Cadia® extra virgin olive oil

2 large onions cut into strips

3/4 teaspoon baking powder


In medium bowl, mix flour, apple juice, salt, baking powder, pepper, egg and 1 tablespoon olive oil until flour is moistened. Heat 3/4 inch olive oil to 350 degrees. While oil is heating, slice onions 1/4 inch thick. Separate onion slices into rings. Dip onion rings, a few at a time, into batter. Cook 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown. Serve with Cadia® organic ketchup.
