Ingredients

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1/4 cup grated carrots

3 cups cooked Cadia® Organic Lentils, mashed

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

3 tbsp Cadia® Organic Tomato Paste

3/4 cup organic almond meal salt to taste

Cadia® Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil for frying

Directions

Sautee onions and carrots in olive oil until tender, drain and let cool. In a separate bowl combine lentils, fresh parsley, tomato paste and almond meal. Add in onions and carrots. Form into patties and fry in a lightly oiled frying pan until browned on both sides and heated through, about ten minutes.
