1 container (32 oz./4 cups) Cadia® organic low sodium vegetable broth

1 tbsp. Cadia® extra virgin olive oil

1 onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups no-salt added tomato juice

3-4 fresh basil leaves, chopped

1/2 tsp. dried oregano

1 bag (16 oz.) Cadia® organic mixed vegetables

1 cup celery, chopped

1 large potato, diced

1 cup green cabbage, diced

28 oz. can Cadia® organic diced tomatoes in tomato juice, undrained

15 oz. can Cadia® organic garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained Pepper (fresh ground black or crushed red flakes)


In a large pot, coat bottom with olive oil and sauté garlic and onions for 2 minutes. Add celery and stir until golden brown. Mix in all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil and serve with sliced baguette.
