For Crust:
2 cups cooked Cadia® organic brown rice

2 tablespoons Cadia® organic unsalted butter, softened 

2 tablespoons chopped onion 

1 Cadia® organic free-range egg, slightly beaten 

For Filling: 
4 Cadia® organic free-range eggs

1 cup Cadia® organic reduced fat milk 

2 cups Cadia® frozen organic broccoli florets, cooked according to package directions 

1 cup Cadia® organic sharp cheddar cheese shreds Salt and pepper, to taste


Combine rice, butter, onion and egg in a bowl. Press mixture into a greased 9 inch pie plate. Bake crust in preheated 400° F oven until edges and bottom are brown, about 7 minutes. Mix 4 eggs, milk, broccoli and cheese in a bowl, season with salt and pepper. Pour mixture into pie crust and bake at 375° F until brown and set in the center, about 30 to 35 minutes.
