2 cans (31 oz.) Cadia® Organic Garbanzo Beans, drained and rinsed

1 can (28 oz.) Cadia® Organic Crushed Tomatoes with Basil

2 tablespoons tahini

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

2 1/2 tablespoons Cadia® Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/4 teaspoon cumin 1 clove of garlic, crushed

1/2 teaspoon salt


In a blender or food processor, blend the garbanzo beans. Add tomatoes, olive oil, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin and salt until the ingredients form a creamy, paste-like consistency. Pour the mixture into a large serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate for one hour. Serve with pita chips or a thinly sliced baguette.
